    junior ring ceremony

    Hi, Wolverine Parents!

     

    The Junior Ring Ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday, April 24, 2019. We are celebrating all juniors even if a ring is not purchased.

    Dress code is BUSINESS CASUAL as follows: Young ladies, no strapless/spaghetti strap blouses and skirts must be an appropriate length. Young men, no jeans or logo tees.

    Please have your Junior pick up a Ring Ceremony form from the front office carousel before or after school and turn in to Ms. Lewis at Room 146 by April 1, 2019. We look forward to seeing you at this memorable event!

    The last day to purchase a class ring is Wednesday, February 13, 2019, during lunch.

    The deadline for final payments by check or card is Wednesday, April 17, 2019. One can make payments by debit/credit cards on the Graduate Sales website www.graduatesales.net.

     

    Career and technology education highlights

    District Statistics:

    79% of 10th-12th graders have earned at least 1 IBC.

    79% of senior class have earned at least 1 IBC.

    87% of junior class have earned at least 1 IBC.

    69% of sophomore class have earned at least 1 IBC.

     

    MHS Statistics: 

    78% of 10th-12th graders have earned at least 1 IBC

    74% of senior class have earned at least 1 IBC

    81% of junior class have earned at least 1 IBC

    83% of sophomore class have earned as least 1 IBC

    One freshman earned 4 IBCs in 1 semester.

    Backpack Policy

    Beginning with the 2018-2019 school year, DeSoto Parish Schools are requiring all book bags and backpacks to be mesh or clear.  The new requirement is part of on-going measures to ensure student safety.
